Second call for proposals - ALiSEA Small Grant Facility14 Feb 2017

Agro-ecology Learning alliance in South East Asia (ALiSEA) has launched the second call for proposals of Small Grant Facility. This SGF is not aimed at implementing new projects but rather emphasizes on knowledge sharing, increasing visibility of existing initiatives and scaling-up best practices.

The Family Farming Knowledge Platform (FFKP) was launched by the Advocacy Unit of the FAO Partnerships, Advocacy and Capacity Development Division (OPC) in June 2016 by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).  The Platform gathers digitized quality information on family farming from all over the world; including national laws and regulations, public policies, best practices, relevant data and statistics, researches, articles and publications.

The Bhutan Agriculture and Food Regulatory Authority (BAFRA), Ministry of Agriculture and Forests, certified “Rangshin Sonam Detshen”, a farmers group of Khatoed geog, Gasa district, as an Organic Group. His Excellency the Minister for Ministry of Agriculture and Forests Lyonpo Yeshi Dorji awarded the certificate to the group.
